Actor Rajnikanth at Madame Tussaud's

This is a petition for a waxwork of Indian actor Rajnikanth to be erected in London's Madame Tussaud's Museum.

Rajnikanth is India's highest-paid actor, and is often considered India's biggest star. He is a cult star in South India, which has a population of 300 million. His movies generate phenomenal response throughout India and the world. Rajnikanth's latest release, Sivaji entered the UK Top 10, and made an impact in the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Middle East, Hong Kong and South Africa.

In addition to Indians, Rajnikanth has a fan following among the large Sri Lankan Tamil diaspora worldwide. There are thousands of Sri Lankan Tamils in Europe (150,000 in the UK, 60,000 in France). Rajnikanth's fame is even known to have spread to Japan. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh even spoke in the Japanese parliament about the impact made by Rajnikanth in uniting India and Japan.

Due to the above mentioned reasons, we believe a Rajnikanth waxwork at Madame Tussaud's will increase the number of visitors to London's Madame Tussaud's. Therefore, we recommend that you consider erecting a waxwork of Rajnikanth at Madame Tussaud's.
