StarEdit for Mac OS X

Dear Blizzard,
Although all Macintoshes produced today come with both OS 9 and Mac OS X, many Mac gamers are now switching to OS X. The trend of games supported by each OS reflect this; all new games released on the Mac platform now include support for OS X. MacPlay has even switched fully to Mac OS X. All of their new games will be X-only. There will come a time not too far off where all new computers will only come with OS X.
While OS 9 is dying fast, StarCraft is not. The game likely has many years ahead of it. It won’t die until StarCraft II is released, if ever. Despite its age, Starcraft is doing very well, with new maps and campaigns being released all the time, which are played by thousands on battle.net everyday. StarEdit is responsible for making those maps and for keeping StarCraft alive.
Many Mac OS X gamers were elated when you released a carbonized StarCraft, but they were disappointed to discover StarEdit was still in its OS 9 form. For many of us, StarEdit is half the fun!
It would be a shame if you denied Mac OS X users the privilege of keeping StarCraft going by making new maps and campaigns using StarEdit. Although StarEdit runs in Classic, it can be painfully slow at times, especially when it comes to scrolling. (It was the same with StarCraft before it was carbonized.) Additionally, there are bugs that appear in Classic that are not apparent in the OS 9 version. Therefore, we strongly believe it is in Blizzard's best interest to carbonize StarEdit for Mac OS X.
