OOTP International Cups

When Markus Heinsohn announced the creation of OOTP Baseball Manager 2006, the possibility of having a baseball universe with leagues all over the world became a possibility for baseball simulating fans across the world. When screenshots were released, many started to dream of a world with international features: promotion/relegation, league champions' cup and, above all, international cups. Whether to emulate the World Baseball Classic or merely to add an interesting dimension to fictional leagues, international competitions soon became a feature requested by many OOTP enthusiasts on the official OOTP boards. We assume that Heinsohn, the creator of OOTP Baseball Manager 2006, didn't expect such an overwhelming demand for such a feature. He has stated that promotion/relegation, league champion's cups and international events were not to be included in OOTP Baseball Manager 2006, much to the chagrin of several users.

We, as baseball fans ans supporters of the OOTP series, think that international play features would be an important addition to OOTP Baseball Manager 2006, and we demand that Markus Heinsohn carefully examine the feasibility of implementing such features into OOTP Baseball Manager 2006. This would not only satisfy the current supporters of the OOTP series, but could possibly also bring in several new customers when the game is released, with the first World Baseball Classic freshly in their mind.
