legalization of trails

To:  City of Amarillo

This is a petition to have the area north of Medical Center Park North Lake
re-zoned as a city allocated recreational area for walkers and bicycle dirt
trails/jumps. Keeping the terrain natural is what would be preferred. There is a need for
an area close to the City for Walkers and Bikes who like to partake in their
activities on dirt trails. This would be a great area for kids, as well as
adults to have fun in a more natural environment.

There is nothing needed from the city except for a parking area with some trash cans as well as a trail map.
The trails are developed and have been ridden for many years. Volunteers
could keep the trails maintained and the trash that comes down from the
lake cleaned up.

This would be an "at your own risk area" similar to the city skate park.
