This petition has been created because of the racial discrimination Indian actress Shilpa Shetty is facing within the Celebrity Big Brother House.

Channel 4 have clearly edited the programme to cut out the many offences committed against Shilpa, one being Jack Tweedy calling Shilpa a 'Paki' in bed with Jade and it being bleepedout. Clearly with the footage available on the internet (www.youtube.com) you can lip read and hear him close the word with an "ee" sound. Yet Channel 4 bleeped it, failing to expose Jack Tweedy for the racist biggot he is.

On live footage housemate Liverpool girl Danielle and racist Jack Tweedy were telling Jade Goody that "Shilpa wants to be white" repeatedly on the 13th January 2007.

Shilpa has also been subjected to offensive comments from Jackeiy Budden (Jades mother) upon initial entrance into the house Budden was immediately rude to Shilpa and had a chip on her shoulder. She refused to say her two-sylable name correctly and, calling her many things along the way, referred to her on repeated occassions as "the Indian", asked her whether she lived in a house or a shack and seemed to have much distain towards her for no apparent reason. Danielle, after many times saying Shilpa's name correctly, refered to as "whatsername Shullup" when putting her down. She must have had a mild case of amnesia or more likely her dislike towards Shilpa had ignited her racist tendencies.

On Big Brother:s Little Brother Nadia Walia said Jackeiy showed racist tendencies only to be brushed off by Dermot O'Leary; a caucasion gentlemen also suggested the same on Russel Brand's show and was also brushed off. Davina McCall avoids the issues at all costs.

Channel 4 continue to sugar-coat all the offences, surely no racial discrimination is a rule in the Big Brother House, why hasn't anyone been called into the diary room about it? Davina McCall's coldness to Shilpa and pro-Goody family attitude is something that is found favouritist and tasteless.

The editing and favouritism is helping every racist in the United Kingdom forward their bigoted agenda. Personally, I have never seen such blatant racism on British television for years, and what appears to be Channel 4's and its CBB TV presenters' denial is angering the Asian Community and many other members of the British public a great deal.

This is a big misrepresentation of how the majority of the Brits are and showing a bad example to someone who has come over from India to be part of the show.

Channel 4 is meant to be showing a REALITY SHOW, so please show what is REALITY....Shilpa being the victim of racism within the Big Brother house.
