Allow the Release of Rockstars "Bully" Game

First heres some stats left out by the "Stop the release of Bully" Petition.

1 out of 5 kids admits to being a bully, or doing some "Bullying."

Students recognize that being a victim of abuse at home or witnessing others being abused at home may cause violence in school.
— 61% said students shoot others because they have been victims of physical abuse at home.
— 54% said witnessing physical abuse at home can lead to violence in school.

28% of youths who carry weapons have witnessed violence at home.

Instead of wasting time trying to ban the release of a video game why don't parents get off the internet and go talk to their kids. Find out how their school life is. Maybe your child is a bully, maybe a victim. Kids lash out and try to "get revenge" when they have no other outlet. Talk to your children, let them vent and contact the school or local authorities if there are situations you become concearned about. A parents job isn't to sit and wait for the child to try to take action for themselves. You are parents!

Parent: Parenting comprises all the tasks involved in raising a child to an independent adult.

Did you read that? "Comprises all tasks involved in raising a child to an INDEPENDENT ADULT". Parents should NOT view their children as independent. When they are adults then they will be independent. Spending time with your children is a wonderful thing that is healthy for the children. A 12 year old should not be treated like you would an 18 year old!

If are still concearned and do not want your children to play games such as "Bully" then simply monitor your childrens games and do not allow them to purchase or play games with Mature ratings. The game "Bully" is intended for Mature (17+) Audiences meaning the player is mature enough to not try to mimmick or carry out in real life what they are doing in the game. If someone plays a video game and then goes and kills someone then their was already something wrong with their mental health and the parents should be responsible instead of the game makers. Its a parents responsibility to know your child.
